About the job
  • Contribute to the alignment of Swarovski’s reporting with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
  • Support corporate finance and sustainability teams in planning and executing collection, consolidation, and analysis of non-financial data
  • Coordinate and act as a contact point for timely, comprehensive, and accurate reporting across Swarovski entities to align it with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements
  • Document and streamline processes related to data collection and reporting, while continuously identifying and implementing improvements to enhance data governance, efficiency, quality, accuracy, and completeness
  • Enhance data reliability through regular data verification and implementing control
  • Assist teams on the implementation and maintenance of ESG reporting architecture
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure data assurance and compliance with CSRD requirements, taking proactive role in addressing any findings or recommendations to achieve greater traceability and transparency
  • Contribute to team efforts related to monitoring the evolving regulatory ESG reporting landscape and best practices in sustainability reporting
  • Drive and/or contribute to the success of special sustainability-related reporting projects, such as the EU Taxonomy, metrics automation with the local entities within the group, TCFD-/TNFD-aligned disclosures, management of DMA outcomes, among others, to ensure comprehensive and compliant sustainability reporting across various frameworks

Internal a nd external stakeholders for this role: Group CFO, Group Legal and Compliance, Finance & Audit Committee, Group Accounting, Group Sustainability, Internal Audit, Local Teams, Digital/IT, external implementation partners and auditors

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
  • University degree/Education, in Finance, Accounting, Business, Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, accounting, controlling, financial reporting, or sustainability reporting (experience of working in Big 4, large manufacturing company, luxury industry exposure would be viewed as a competitive advantage)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding within financial and/or non-financial reporting, auditing, internal controls, and risk assessment
  • Demonstrable proficiency in using and configuring reporting tools and related software, with the ability to provide user support would be of an advantage
  • Familiarity with IFRS, GRI, SASB, CSRD/ESRS, or other key reporting frameworks is desirable
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills (professional skepticism), project management experience will be a plus
  • Demonstrable experience of managing without authority and working in geographically distributed teams
  • English proficiency, other languages would be an advantage, strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong team orientation, interpersonal skills, and personal impact
