The Role:

As the Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the regional execution and management of all corporate income tax compliance, income tax provision, transfer pricing, tax audits and tax planning for Deckers operations in EMEA.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can interact with all areas of the business.

Your Impact:
  • Work as part of EMEA team focusing on analyzing, modeling and advising for EMEA business initiatives and tax planning & transformation opportunities
  • Partner with senior management to calculate and review transfer pricing entries and documentation
  • Assist team with review of quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations for US GAAP and local statutory audited financial statements
  • Ensure all EMEA corporate income tax filings and estimated tax payments are complete, accurate and timely filed

We would Love to Hear from People with:
  • Extensive European taxation in private industry and public accounting.
  • Experience with the tax regimes of United Kingdom is required; experience with tax regimes Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Italy is desired is desired.
  • Technical knowledge and practical application of the concepts of permanent establishment, entity selection, income tax treaties.
  • Prior experience reporting to a US-headquartered public company.
  • Must be able to quickly develop cross-functional relationships across the business and with tax department partners.
  • Ability to clearly set expectations and communicate results.
  • Ability to manage change.
  • Flexibility to support global projects across multiple time zones.
