WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Junior Creative Patternmaker at our Headquarters in Stockholm your main contribution will be to create high quality patterns for all womenswear collections. You will report to Senior Head Patternmaker. You will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality garments through precise patterns, optimized construction, and seamless team collaboration, delivering consistency and smooth production by:

  • Deliver high-quality patterns with precise, clear information to in-house ateliers or external suppliers.
  • Provide technical solutions for garment construction to ensure optimal design execution.
  • Oversee pattern quality for styles, from sketch handover to the final production fitting.
  • Actively participate in fitting sessions, providing focused, proactive input and taking comments to ensure smooth development and production processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the in-house atelier on garment construction and finishing details.
  • Work in partnership with product developers, technical designers, and designers to align on project goals.
  • Ensure consistency in sizing and grading during the development and production phases through close cross-functional collaboration.

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
  • Academic degree within pattern making
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a pattern maker preferably in an international high-end fashion brand
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English with a good command of English technical terms
  • Good understanding of the creative process and garment construction
  • Proficient in a CAD pattern software (Gerber, Lectra, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CLO and Adobe Suite is meriting
