We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Planning Specialist to temporarily join our Supply Chain team as part of a maternity replacement. The role is for operations talent with strong business acumen and a proven track record of independently managing large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information into action-driven insights. You will work as part of a team that manages On's supply planning, and pilots the entire process from capacity and material planning, to order placement and inventory management to ensure that the right products are in the right markets at the right time. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams such as Distributor Markets, Demand Planning, Production Planning and Logistics to build an agile supply plan and proactively drive continuous improvement through the entire planning process.

Your Mission

- Own the coordination of supply related topics for Distributor Markets within our Footwear range; develop supply calendars and bridge the gap between Sales, Operations and Supply Chain

- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and optimise order allocation

- Identify, track and communicate capacity short-falls or production delays to the various stakeholders

- Further develop a digital / data driven approach to continuously improve our operations

- Execute operational tasks such as order reroutes from the factories, transfer orders from the warehouses, order ship date adjustments, etc

- Participate in cross-functional projects around planning, product launch and operations aimed at optimizing the supply chain and supporting business growth

Your Story

- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering or related Business degree preferred, but not compulsory

- 2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain planning roles, including: production planning, inventory management, operations, procurement

- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze large amounts of data, draw conclusions and make informed decisions

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you feel comfortable to independently manage internal and external teams and stakeholders on all levels and from different cultural backgrounds

- Proficiency in Excel is a must; strong modeling skills - data visualization tool experience is a plus

- Excellent English language proficiency
