Director/ Senior Manager of Sales Strategy and Client Engagement
Location: Mount St, Mayfair (Office-based)
Contract: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Safiyaa is seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Director of Sales Strategy and Client Engagement to refine, integrate, and implement our comprehensive sales strategy. This individual will be responsible for aligning sales efforts with Safiyaa’s growth objectives, focusing on e-commerce, virtual, by appointment showroom sales as well as wholesale to lead the refinement, development, and execution of our multi-channel sales strategy.
With 70% of our business focused on D2C channels (e-commerce, virtual, and showroom appointments) and 30% on wholesale, this role prioritizes creating exceptional client experiences and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will bring strategic acumen, operational excellence, and a passion for / experience in luxury fashion to elevate Safiyaa’s position in the global market. The role requires deep expertise in luxury client engagement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence to deliver a seamless and elevated client experience across all channels.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Refinement and Development
- Lead the refinement of Safiyaa’s 2025 sales strategy, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and double-digit EBITDA margins, focusing on client retention and securing global market growth.
- Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
- Within the first 30 days, conduct a comprehensive review of the existing strategy, identifying gaps and immediate opportunities for enhancement.
- Develop a 12-month roadmap that integrates key initiatives across e-commerce, virtual, and showroom experiences.
2. Wholesale
- Develop and oversee a wholesale strategy that supports Safiyaa’s overall business objectives without compromising D2C priorities.
- Strengthen relationships with wholesale partners to ensure alignment with Safiyaa’s brand values and optimize sell-through.
- Monitor wholesale performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve account profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations for wholesale accounts.
3. System Integration and Technology Deployment
- Oversee the integration of CRM and predictive analytics tools to enhance client segmentation and targeting.
- Implement systems to track client interactions, personalize outreach, and measure conversion rates across channels.
- By Day 60, ensure key CRM tools are operational, and provide training for relevant teams.
- Leverage virtual showroom tools and AI-driven personalization technologies to elevate client engagement.
4. Execution and Project Management
- Develop and oversee the strategic framework for e-commerce, virtual, and showroom channels, ensuring alignment with Safiyaa’s overall sales objectives, setting measurable KPIs such as client attendance, engagement metrics, and conversion rates to sales.
- Ensure cohesive and on-brand messaging across all client touchpoints, leveraging strategic insights to guide email campaigns, virtual consultations, and showroom experiences.
- Create and implement detailed action plans, defining timelines, milestones, and deliverables for each channel to optimize performance and client engagement.
- Strategically plan and coordinate exclusive showroom and non showroom events and client activation initiatives, integrating cross-departmental inputs to maximize in-person engagement, tracking outcomes and framing lessons learnt for future projects.
4. Data Analysis and Performance Tracking
- Monitor and report on KPIs, including conversion rates, client lifetime value (LTV), and revenue growth.
- Analyse data to identify opportunities for optimization and make data-driven recommendations.
- Establish a feedback loop within the first 90 days to continuously refine sales strategies and tactics.
5. Leadership and Team Collaboration
- Lead and mentor sales and client engagement teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, inspiring teams to deliver exceptional client experiences while embodying Safiyaa’s core values.
- Within the first month, assess team dynamics and provide recommendations for optimizing collaboration, workflow, team structure and recruitment.
- Actively collaborate with marketing, production and technology to ensure seamless workflows.
6. Enhancing Client Experiences
- Design and implement strategies to transition clients between channels
- Elevate the showroom experience through tactile displays, exclusive perks, and personalized services.
- Deliver reports on opportunities to refine the experience, informed by client feedback and industry benchmarks.
- Lead the creation of luxury messaging that positions Safiyaa as a destination for demi-couture excellence.
- Position Safiyaa as a leader in luxury fashion through innovative, personalized client journeys and operational excellence.
- Ensure consistent storytelling and brand representation across all touchpoints, with a focus on creating meaningful and aspirational experiences.
- Work collaboratively with wholesale partners to align their messaging with Safiyaa’s brand ethos.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in luxury sales strategy, client engagement, or related roles.
- Proven track record in executing complex sales strategies and achieving ambitious growth targets.
- Strong expertise in CRM systems, data analytics, and sales operations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Passion for the luxury fashion industry and deep understanding of client expectations in the space.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills.
