Job Details

BBC ICECREAM EU is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our organic Social Media team. As part of the wider Marketing team, you will direct social strategy, community and platform engagement, and campaign execution. You will bring expert knowledge of social trends, platform algorithms, brand experience, and performance reporting. Responsible for ensuring the brand is at the forefront of social and digital trends, you will inspire new ways of working and empower our team managing the day-to-day implementation of our channel strategies to meet key social and commercial KPIs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of all BBC ICECREAM EU social media channels, ensuring alignment with brand and business strategies.
  • Manage the execution of social channel strategies, focusing on KPIs and campaign impact.
  • Collaborate with creative and digital teams to ideate, design, and carry-out innovative, social-first campaigns that engage our audience.
  • With the team, manage content planning, delivery, execution, and community engagement.
  • Oversee reporting and analytics, using data and insights to to optimise for continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with social platforms, identifying new opportunities and managing collaborational projects.
  • Work with a range of social performance tools for campaign execution and performance analysis - from listening to content-planning.
  • Find new and exciting ways to engage customers via social media channels to drive awareness, conversation, and affinity to BBC ICECREAM EU.
  • Champion BBC ICECREAM EU’s brand values across all social activations, working closely with cross-functional teams (digital, PR, and commercial teams) to deliver cohesive, impactful strategies.

 

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Extensive experience in growing and managing social brand channels with background and experience in fashion and culture.
  •  Creative thinking to drive unique and shareable social content alongside strategic and analytical skills.
  • In - depth knowledge of the social media channel-mix (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat)
  • Ability to handle multiple campaigns, communicate effectively, and engage with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability under pressure, and attention to detail in fast-paced environments across multiple projects.
