Nandita Sinha is the chief executive of Myntra, a leading Indian fashion e-commerce and beauty platform under the Flipkart Group, a company majority owned by Walmart. Her 2024 appointment as the head of Flipkart’s fashion division further solidified her influence in India’s fashion sector. Since taking the top job at Myntra in 2022, Sinha has consistently pushed the online retailer to innovate. By harnessing data-led customer insights and trends, trialling social commerce innovations and securing a raft of A-list Bollywood celebrity ambassadors, she has set new industry standards.
Under her leadership, Myntra reported operational profitability in the last quarter of the 2023 calendar year, reaching 60 million monthly active users. By 2024, Myntra had onboarded numerous international high-street and fast fashion brands including Mango, H&M, Trendyol and Next in addition to its roster of Indian labels. It had also partnered with Macy’s and high-end designers like Rohit Bal.
Sinha joined Flipkart Group in 2013, rising quickly through the ranks, eventually leading her to the role of vice president of customer growth and marketing at Flipkart before taking the helm at Myntra. Sinha holds a degree in ceramic engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. Her career began in the FMCG sector with Hindustan Unilever and Britannia Industries.
